Greetings all,

Quite obviously this is my first journal entry on Deviant Art. Big woop. Huzzah, and various other excited exclamations. But anywho:

Many of you who are view this profile, especially those in the military have probably seen the picture of the guy lying on the really ugly couch. Well just to make sure that no one else can lay claim to it, of course if they're going to then they're going to take credit for it regardless of what I do. But if you want the truth about the picture then you've come to the right place.
The picture was taken back in July of this year (2006), and I had discovered a few days prior to the taking of the pictures that the ACUs worked freakishly well on that couch. So I geared up one day and decided to lie down on the couch for a nap. Most of the people coming in didn't notice, those that did generally asked the question, "What's up with the boots on the couch?" And then of course someone decided to sit down on the couch to discover that the couch had become boney, and moved.
So yep. There it is, I have a few other pictures from that day and another day during "Annie Get Your Gun" in which I laid down upon the couch in ACUs again.

So there you go. That's the history of the picture before it found its way onto the internet.
